You know how a day can get flushed real early and only to backup as it progresses. That was my Saturday. It started to cost money at nine am and went down hill. I needed a laugh. Couldn’t find one until I read your post. Thanks.
Glad I could help, Tom. Hope today is less expensive for you.
Hilarious! But you know I’m going to break out laughing every time I hear this song. From now on. Even in church. Especially when I picture the sheep wearing LED blankets on their backs like in the Extreme Sheep Herding video!
LOL. That’s a great idea. Sheep with LED blankets in the Christmas play. Now that you’ve planted the seed, I’ll be thinking of that, too.
“How bout a blanket? How bout some soup?” Haha. Love this. The whole silver & gold thing always threw me as a kid. I was pretty sure the baby Jesus would love a Furby or some Jelly Bellies.
LOL. Exactly. Or a Thomas Tank Engine. Silver and gold would only be a choking hazard.
Oh my…this will make me reexamine a LOT of Christmas songs. “Little Drummer Boy” comes to mind…by the time he’s “pa-rump-pa-pa-pummed” through the whole song I don’t think ANYONE wants him to play the drum, especially a new mom trying to get her baby to sleep. Just sayin…
Seriously! I’d have smacked that kid or at least sent him out to herd some sheep.
That was great, Piper! That line in the song always gets me – talk about your non sequiturs! Solution for cold baby: silver and gold?? Really? My kids quickly got tired of me commenting on that whenever the song came on, LOL.
All the best in 2013. Thanks for being such a fab cyber-peep! Hope to meet you in person someday!
Kathy
LOL. I was always like that when I read my daughter fairy tales. “That’s silly. You don’t marry a man just because he kisses you and wakes you up or brings back your shoe. They need to date at least a year.” Sounds like your kids would get a kick out of this and think of you.
Happy New Year, Kathy! Come to DFW this year.
I am seriously considering it, Piper!
Wonderful, Piper! Thanks so much for the smiles. Happy New Year!
Glad you enjoyed it. Happy New Year to you, too, Catherine.
Great way to end the year! thanks for the giggles
You bet, Phil. Happy New Year!
